There is no question that Americans are crazy about their pets. Keeping saltwater fish alive and healthy can be a challenge for even the most knowledgeable of enthusiasts. So if you have the knowledge and skill to maintain a healthy environment for tropical fish, your services can be in great demand.

The need for such services first became clear to me personally when I lived in Hawaii. One of my business clients had a tropical fish business, personally dived for tropical fish and shipped them by air to pet stores throughout America. My adolescent son was impressed and really wanted a saltwater aquarium. I thought it would be pretty neat too, so we went out and purchased all the equipment we needed to start what we expected would be a thriving saltwater aquarium.
